On a chilly morning, the university’s photography studio felt even colder than the brisk air outside. Avery arrived early to set up for the next shoot, because Corina felt emboldened to rifle through drawers and cupboards, attempting to occupy herself when made to wait even the shortest of times. The distraction caused by the shuffling and complaining prompted Avery to dedicate Mondays and Wednesdays to sessions with Corina and Maxine. She already developed the first set of prints and liked how they came out. During their last session, Corina and Maxine got a look at them. Avery did not have any wishes that could be fulfilled by Cornia, nor did she want to give off a vibe that she did. The more time she spent with Corina listening to her sexual ramblings, the more Avery’s confidence rose within her work. Maybe it eased the tension or provided her with the confidence to push the boundaries even further.
